“After retirement, we hope to plant coffee and enjoy coffee up in the mountains.” This is the dream of this couple. They started planting coffee in 2016 but knew nothing at the time. They committed themselves to serious learning, attending coffee courses everywhere. In 2020, their first participation in the Alishan Estate Green Bean Exchange Competition earned them silver awards for both washed and natural processing methods. In 2021 and 2022, they continued to win gold and silver awards on the honor roll.

Though their production is small, Kezi Lin Coffee Estate is fully equipped with high-quality facilities. With the spirit of true artisanship, they pay meticulous attention to every step. They invest heavily even in equipment, guided by the belief that “to do a good job, one must first sharpen their tools.” Their concept of not cutting corners to produce good coffee is rare. Committed to quality assurance, they refuse to ship beans if they don’t meet standards, because they want everyone to enjoy the very best coffee.
